Switching off O2 dns servers

posted 3 May 2010, 16:20 by Ian Gilliam
The o2 router (Thomson) contains an embedded OS which supports dns/dhcp both server and client.

To switch off the O2 supplied dns server so that only the dns server you want are available you must:

1. dhcp
2. client
3. ifdetach (select the interface)
4. rqoptions
5. delete (select interface and then select domain-name-servers)
6. ..
7. ifattach (select the interface)
8. ifrenew
